Songs by Phil Holiday
The inspirational music composed and played by our own Phil Holiday is available at:

Meanwhile here are the lyrics of two of his beautiful songs:
In the Absence of the Mind
Thank you for giving me so much pleasure on spring mornings when things were tough. You were there, on the same chimney pot at 5 am every day when I used to walk past you with my dog. The early morning was fresh, clear, clean and just lovely. The green of the lawn was brilliant. Every day I saw the same cars, and the same man walking to work. The morning had it’s own tempo and rhythm, almost sacred like going to early morning communion in church. The beautiful hymn was provided by you singing. Always there, always faithful.
As I write this on an April Sunday evening, a relative of yours is hopping about on the front lawn outside my window. He’s gone now, but I can hear him singing from somewhere close by, an echo of those peaceful mornings two or three years ago. I offer you both my gratitude and thanks for keeping me company on those difficult mornings, and on this different, but still troubled evening.
You kept me company and reminded me of the stillness and serenity that’s there when we open our ears and eyes.
